Today is Earth Day, April 22. Last year, we marked it across Hamburger Recycling locations by by planting trees.
Some did not make it. Some needed more care than expected. And some, quietly and steadily, continued to grow.
That may be the most honest reminder of what Earth Day is really about. Progress does not always happen perfectly or all at once. Sometimes it grows slowly, often in the background, even when we are busy with everyday life.
A year later, seeing those trees still standing and developing is a small but meaningful sign that positive actions can create lasting results.
